The room was well appointed. The staff was fabulous. the food was great. The location was excellent. My wife and I were made to feel like we were the only guests stay there. Every minute of stay was enjoyable. After many trips to London we have finally found our "home" in London.

The friendly staff made a big difference

The room was small, it had lots of maintenance problems, and it was very expensive.

Really comfortable stay, beautifully decorated room, superb shower and so close to all the sights & sounds of London whilst still being lovely & peaceful.

Breakfast looked pricey, but wasn't a problem as there are plenty of alternatives a short stroll away.

Good location, old world charm, friendly albeit slightly disorganised staff, nice room, good value for money

Staff were really friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble, my room was really comfortable with a 3/4 bad which was really suprising as in my experience when you book a single room you usually get a box room.

Hotel location was brilliant. Staff very friendly our room size very good.- although requested low floor and view not very nice. Rooms nicely englishdecorated breakfast very good. Evening snack very tasty at the bar area. Recommneded for a 2-4 night stay mature couples even young couples. Robert professional prior or arrival during telecom-during stay-nathan- concierge staff... Room service MANAGER-he even volounteered to take a picture of us. Some of them they have even greeted me by surname..bravo will be back.

Some corridors need refurbishment. First floor pc-business area -duting our stay had to print some material out-but printer was out of order for 3days-duty manager displayed a note but when you really have ot work without your own laptop you need the printer. Being in the same business for the last 15 years I highly recommend to locate s small business centre at the ground floor some where . concierge needs to keep an updated restaurants booklet of 2010...and to be trained on main good restaurants address. BUT ..THEY ARE ALL DOIGN THEIR VERY BEST.

High quality finish to the rooms and decor.

The wardrobe was full, an iron, an ironing board, a safe, a tea and coffee makings, a luggage rack. So where was I suppose to hang my clothes, in the end it was on the wardrobe door.

The Staff at the Hotel, everyone of them was friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. We stayed there because of the location, it is very close to Buckingham Palace and we were going to Buckingham Palace Garden Party. Victoria Train station was close by/ walking distance. The room was large and very comfortable, will stay there again when in London.

The Rubens hotel is fabulous and in a fantastic location for eveything London has to offer. We always try to stay here on our very frequent trips to London, both on business or leisure. The hotel staff are excellent. Its very well run with lots of attention to detail, which makes our stay always trouble free. The afternoon tea and dinner either in the Carvery or the Library restuarant is a must and great value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel, or any of the "Red Carnation" group of hottels around the world.

                No complaints of any kind.

Within walking distance of Victoria coach station. Extremely comfortable beds and the pillows were divine!! Did not eat or drink there so cannot comment on food. Rooms had all facilities

Booked two rooms at quite an expensive rate due to it being a busy weekend in London. However one room was not ready at the check in time of 2pm and as time was short for our trip this was disappointing. I did have to ring reception a few times from my room to try to speed things up before a room became available. I do think a check in at 2 pm should mean exactly that!

The staff at the Rubens were very attentive and helpful - the room was very tastefully furnished

Having looked at the website - the rooms appeared to be much bigger and more elaboratively decorated than ours was - although it was tastefully done. I felt that it was catering more for clients with expensive tastes and things that I would have expected to be free such as ordinary viewing of the tv was chargeable. Considering the room cost £179 per night this was a little disappointing as I have stayed in much larger and more comfortable rooms for much less than that per night. All the floors creaked and this could keep clients awake at night or disturb their lie in -however it did not disturb us.
