Our stay at this newly renovated hotel was fantastic! The location is perfect, as it is close to both the city center and all tourist spots. the hotel is just a short walk from the Tram station. The room was very comfortable and modern, with a spacious and well-designed bathroom. The hotel personnel were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, providing us with great recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the hearty breakfast and the stunning view from the breakfast area.

While we had an enjoyable stay overall, we did find one aspect of the hotel to be a bit odd, as the shower was located next to the bed. Nonetheless, we quickly got used to this arrangement and it didn't detract from our experience.

The decoration and location of the hotel in general and the old-house charm and quiet of the room (top-floor penthouse). It felt like home, somewhere where you could relax.

The lack of elevator, especially if you forget something in the room and have to go up all those stairs again in order to get it. The fact that the basement rooms don't have any view at all and there is no other feature incorporated in the decoration as compensation.

Our stay at the House Hotel was lovely. It is well situated next to a trendy night spot, and close to the major shopping street. Public transport and a taxi rank is a short walk away, and it it easy to access Istanbul Central, Ortakoy and all the tourist spots from this hotel. The room was spacious, the staff lovely and breakfast good. We recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to use it as a base to explore Istanbul.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, it is in the middle of the fancy shopping district and close to all tourist spots. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and supportive. The cleanliness was top-notch; this hotel was very well maintained.

The House Hotel Galatasaray was like paradise in the midst of thriving, throbbing Istanbul. From the moment we walked in to the minute we checked out, the hotel was like an oasis: beautifully maintained and decorated, and on a quiet street just a stone's throw from art galleries, novel boutiques, elegant and down to earth restaurants and just a few minutes walk to Istiklal Avenue and its tiny side streets full of surprises. Our room was terrific, our room service was delicious (and the young man who served us was delightful and informative), the bed comfy, the sofa and tv in the living room perfect for end of the day relaxation and the breakfast was a terrific way to start the day. We will return for sure.

Loved the location...close to Istiklal (Taksim) but just slightly away from the real noise and intense nightlife. Interior design was lovely as were the breakfasts and the staff..

We had one of the least expensive rooms and, although the room itself was very nice, the fancy shower (in the bedroom in a transparent cylinder) leaked badly onto the floor. They were very polite and would clean up every day so that it sort-of worked but pretended that it was a new development -which seemed very unlikely.- Rather than offering to move us to another room.I Would still return!

This hotel is an absolute gem! The value for money is exceptional - you won't find anything better for the price. The staff are so kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. The location is perfect, with bars, restaurants, and antique shops right on the doorstep. And let's not forget the breathtaking view from the roof during breakfast - it's simply stunning!

The room was not very nice. It had no natural light. The staff were unhelpful.

The hotel was a great choice for my city break. the breakfast was excellent and offered a variety of options. the location was perfect, close to main attractions and easy access to public transport. One more advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who made my stay enjoyable.

One of the rooms had a problematic shower with an odd design and in a weird location. the photos on the website made the room look larger than it actually was, and it felt cramped.

Mmmm ... at the beginning the taxi drivers didn't know the location of the hotel at all and it was a real problem for the entire stay. Small suites, noisy (I mean really noisy), no elevator. No one to carry ur bags so u have to carry them yourself. First night the ac didn't work and when I asked them about it the answer was we can't do nothing today. But next day I met the manager and he was very understanding guy he upgraded me to a bigger suite and he made may stay comfort and nice. But overall if u r looking for relax I won't recommend this hotel and if u r looking for adventure it will be a nice hotel.

The rooms are large, airy and comfortable. The staff is very helpful, particularly Zerin and Cehan who go out of their way to assist with directions, tips on tourism, and places to eat. The hotel is conveniently located near Istiklal Caddesi and the antique district. Lovely breakfast spread and inviting room decor.

Nothing to fault.

Location is good. It is close to everything (main street, tram...). The breakfast is very good and the woman who prepares it is very kind. Very spacious rooms.

I was suprised when I had to pay. They charge me in Lira but the exchange rate was at 2.32 instead of 2.15. The price on booking was 835€ and I paid 100 euro more. Also, I have asked if they provide me a taxi. They said it is possible for 150€ (very expensive). I went across the street to ask to the taxi (if they do not speak english) and the price was 50€. They is only a shower on the room and it is not possible to rent movies on tv (We had 3 days snowing so we wanted to stay at home with a good movie).

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are interested in making your stay very enjoyable. The personal touch is very much here. The renovation of the old house has been beautifully done. If you don't mind climbing lots of stairs it is in a great location. Outside, the street is old, cobbly and narrow,the area is almost chic because it is so shabby. Be prepared to climb hills to shopping areas, or downhill to catch tram(5 mins down, 15 back up!) Breakfast on the top floor(4 flights up) beside the 2 penthouse rooms was good. Fitness required! Loved the decor.Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

The 2 penthouse suites have either no view or a limited view. The larger of the 2, is 20 and has no view at all, but it is a beautiful room, huge. The smaller one, 19, is not small, just smaller, and still lovely. Views are advertised from the penthouse suites, but realistically do not choose here for the views from any of the bedrooms, choose it for the boutique hotel atmosphere. You'll get the views from the breakfast room!
