The homestay had a sense of nostalgia with its 200-year-old wooden steps from the Portuguese times. The highlight of our stay was the owner, Carlos, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. From providing valuable advice on exploring the city to arranging an alternate cab for us, Carlos was a true gem. He even made sure my elderly mother had a special birthday celebration, complete with a delicious meal and a sunset viewing at Dona Paula. The food at the homestay was excellent as well, with friendly staff always ready to assist. we would highly recommend Caravela Homestay for a personalized and unforgettable Goan experience.

Had a great Easter break in Goa! Stayed at a cool little homestay near the river with friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Loved the fact that the location was central to all the best sights and sounds. Easy to catch a taxi or auto for longer trips, and plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the personalized service from the owners. Plus, great value for money - definitely coming back soon!
