Central. Friendly. Helpful. Free refreshments and substantial breakfast.

Considering the price, the service is perfect. Good location, just several minutes from the train station. Hot shower, breakfast is good, and you can have free coffee and drinks anytime when the reception is open. We leave the room at 7:00, and we leave the luggage in the room with a note that we will come back to take our luggage in the evening. The reception is quite helpful.
there is no specific things that I didn't like this hotel.

Very good breakfast. Wifi is available in whole building
It's far from train station and city center. Totally nothing to see ard the hotel.

Good location, free WI-Fi and most importantly, free on-site parking. Be aware that it is expensive to park a car in Norway. The hotel's parking saved us at least 25 USD a day. It was possible to leave our car at the hotel and walk to the historical downtown sites and shopping.

The hotel is located in an ordinary early 20th century wooden house; added to, altered and re-used with varying budgets as time went by. The good thing about this is that it is by no means a standard hotel-interior, the bad thing is that it looks a bit hap-hazard and slightly dilapidated. Once inside the room however, this does not matter: its clean, neat and the beds were comfortable. Also big positives:ithe great location near the center; free parking, and the breakfast is not too bad either.

The possibility to park the car in the hotel without charge. There was a common kitchen to prepare some food. Fridge in the room.
There is no lift in the building. shared bathroom. A little old furniture.

I stayed there for 5 mights. The included breakfast was a surprise with alot of variety. The Wi-Fi was great for me even on the 4th floor. Some prior reviews had complained of noise at night, but I had no such issues. The shared bathrooms worked out ok for me as I showered at night. There was also a WC in addition to the shower room, so something was always available. There was a nice sized fridge in the room and across from the bathroom was a full kitchen. Had I had more friends along with me, this would have been perfect for cooking a nice dinner. It's the most affordable hotel in Stavanger and the staff was very friendly.
There was nothing I did not like about the hotel.

Nice, cosy room. A bit 80s style but cool.Very good value for your money. Breakfast was also pretty good.
Even though we were two people in our twin room, we only got one key, which was a bit weired.

No-nonsense B&B; a key was supplied for easy access outside of reception hours, which was helpful as I was out until the wee small hours of the morning. Free parking is also provided, which although not much use to me as a dedicated pedestrian, would be very useful to others.

I went to Stavanger for a weekend trip and to visit Preikestolen. I booked the hotel the day of arrival so main criteria was price and location. This was the cheapest option. They had a decent breakfast and also complementary snacks and tea/coffee was handy at times. Very nice and friendly staff. Hotel was not too far from city center, ~10 min walk from the Port. For a budget b&b its not so cheap but its Norway, everything is expensive :)
