The hotel had a great location near a supermarket and some local eateries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and working air conditioning. We enjoyed the free daily breakfast and the option of having a drink bar at the pool.
The options for dinner at the hotel were limited and not always to our liking. We found the prices for drinks at the bar to be high.

Bad experience
In general: 1. No one spoke English, very difficult to communicate. 2. Room service menu was very LIMITED; no restaurant food available for room service, REALLY. Unacceptable. 3. Pool with swim up bar was nasty- full of young drunk people throwing up, peeing in the pool and spilling drinks in the pool making it unappealing to even get in to! REALLY? 4. Had to tip the front desk before we could check into our room because we arrived at 2:30; when check in time was at 3:00, but our room happened to be ready when we tipped him $20; REALLY? 5. Loud screaming, arguing and fighting all night long in the hallways outside our room, even waking us up in the middle of the night... REALLY? 6. I will never come here again and will recommend that nobody waste there money on this place! Location and surroundings: Hotel Zone - who cares... never left the resort, but wish I had; just afraid to wonder around Cancun by ourselves. Service: Terrible & unacceptable. Dining: Steak house was ok, but the other places were below standard... Not good at all.

Great stay: The hotel had amazing facilities and was in a great location on the coast. The beach was beautiful and well-protected from the waves. the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Room for Improvement: The food options were limited, and the bartenders at the pool were not friendly. However, there were great alternatives nearby.
