The location of this place is fantastic, right by Oporto Coliseum, and the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming.

I would recommend this hotel for people that only need to spend a few nights in Porto. It has basic facilities, but for that price you can't expect more. Friendly staff that speaks a littlebit English. Wireless internet connection is available. (But not fast)

The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions and surrounded by plenty of cafes and restaurants. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a 24-hour reception, which was very convenient as we arrived late at night without any issues. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English, making communication smooth and easy.

The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which was a bit off-putting. there was no lift in the hotel, so carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was a bit inconvenient.

I especially like the room design. The big round bed is very comfortable for a couple.

On the last day we planned to check out around 11:00 after a short walk outside, but not successful. We were asked to return the key when we went outside because they had to clean the room. Our luggages/bags were taken out and we were not allowed to go back the room although it is only 11AM.

All good — we enjoyed this small hotel — the food was fabulous and the stuff were outstandingly helpful. The location was exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect, in the heart of Porto, convenient to go everywhere. Moreover, it was not far from the shopping streets, lots of cafés, bakeries and restaurants, the river on the other side and the old town center.

Convenient location, close to restaurants, food store, and famous monuments. Calm room, no ants. Easy to reach by metro, staff spoke English. Room as pictured, double with bathroom. Bathroom nice, small shower. TV with a few channels, blankets provided for colder nights.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to tourist attractions and amenities such as supermarkets and restaurants. The 24/7 reception was convenient, allowing us to drop off our bags early and check out early in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Finding the hotel was a challenge as the outdoor signage was faded and hard to see. The room had a bad odor, especially the musty-smelling closet which we couldn't use.

During my stay at Guesthouse Belo Horizonte, I was impressed with the convenient location, as it was within a short walk to the main attractions in Porto. The staff at the guesthouse were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease throughout my stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the thin walls and occasional noise from neighboring rooms, overall I had a positive experience at Guesthouse Belo Horizonte and would recommend it to others.

Great location in the centre of town, a 15 minute walk from the cosey Ribeira quai. Good value for little money. Basic facilities. Coffee corner next to hotel to have breakfast.

Wireless Internet had too weak a signal in our room, did not work. Rather cold (Jan 2011) and no heating. However, staff provided us with one after having requested.

Great stay during the winter! Our room was lovely, cozy, and had a private bathroom. The location was right in the city center. 🌟
