I appreciated warm breakfast, pleasant views.

The stay here was really great on a subsequent visit. I was given modern room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Had very central location by the Filini restaurant. Had cool champagnes and coffee in the champagne bar.

Fantastic base for discovering Durham with pleasant staff at reception desk. Airy & soundproof room, an air conditioner, a coffeemaker, and a mini-fridge in there. Extensive and reasonable breakfast.

This was a superb stay for one night bed and breakfast. The restaurant here was great with a mellow atmosphere making the experience more relaxed than the spa, we both ordered excellent dishes. Enjoyed that we had a coffeemaker, an iron, and a carpet. Really kind staff, provided information if needed. The location was great, close to bars and restaurants.

I took a premium king room with access to health club, comfortable bed, for example. The breakfast was nice hot and reasonable on trays with silverware pieces in abundance; the location was unbeatable.

Got airy room with lovely views, the tea tray, for instance - always come in handy. The location was very central, very close to beautiful Durham, the Durham Cathedral, and centre.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic with accommodating staff with a happy smiling receptionist.

The restaurant was pleasant with very good food and excellent service, we ordered warm dishes. We got a modern room and efficient service.

Location - marvellous and lovely, near the town centre and cathedral, to the train station and key areas of interest. Easy walk to The Journey. A good choice of options for breakfast, reasonably priced toast and eggs.

Possibly the best and very relaxing stay for a business trip. Very impressive area, very central location really close to city center and all historic sights, the castle and the cathedral and the Collage restaurant. Situated only 1 km from a resplendent monument.

We were pleased to find modern rooms at this moderately priced hotel. Consistently courteous staff both at check-in and check-out and the location was marvellous on riverbank. Tried some takeout specials at Bells Fish Restaurant, luckily it was not too far away from the venue.
