Our double room with a big bathroom was fantastic. The personnel and host at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating.- The location was convenient, being close to the ferry, train station, Nelson, and Blenheim.

Nicely presented and reasonably priced accommodation with handy setting very close to a local restaurant on the third night-a 15-minute walk along the river bank, the town centre and restaurants and downtown shops, cafes and the Wine Station. Well-appointed room overlooking the poolside. Had really good climate control, a lounge and an iron.
Not that friendly staff!

Our stay at Riverside Hotel Marlborough was fantastic. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They provided a secure area for our bicycles and parking was easy right outside our room. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and cool with air conditioning. We also loved the location, being able to walk into town along the riverside path. The bar was well-stocked, and the security doors provided peace of mind. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value and great amenities.

The room was incredibly clean and well maintained. High-ceiling room so we felt that we had lots of space.
We asked for a small jug of milk to have with our cereal in the morning. Was surprised to be charged $3 for it when we were checking out. It was unexpected because this wasn't mentioned to us when we requested the milk. Additionally, it just seemed so trivial to charge a guest who's paying more than $150 a night for some milk. I can recall countless backpackers that I've stayed at that offered me free milk!

The clean comfortable room
The meal my partner chose at your restaurant was fish of the day with side salad and hand cut fries. Whilst the fish was very nice it was presented in a very poor manner. The fish was sitting on a bed of plain mesculin (which by the time I got it the Mesculin was hot and soggy.)....there were absolutely no added salad ingredients and was not good value for money or presentation to say the least. I didn't complain at the time as one of the other visitors had spilled beer all over the table etc..... My meal was noticeably better all round. Also the noise transfer betwen rooms was not good...We heard everything the visitors in the next room were doing - likewise they would have heard us too....

I recently stayed at the Riverside Hotel for 3 weeks and it quickly became my favorite hotel. The staff, especially Kapil, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. The rooms were warm, clean, and free from any road noise. The full cooked breakfast included in the price was delicious, and the chefs were accommodating to dietary requests. The hotel is secure at night and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. The owner, Kerry, is friendly and well-liked among guests. A truly brilliant and smart choice to stay here. 10/10!
I highly recommend this hotel.

This place is really close to everything we needed. It's in walking distance to the town center, making it easy to explore the local shops and restaurants. The location on State Highway 6 also made it convenient for us to access the nearby wineries and vineyards. The hotel offered great amenities, including room service, car hire, and dry cleaning, ensuring that all our needs were met. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a patio. The garden area and sun terrace were a nice bonus, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
