We were given a fine room with homemade cookies, an ensuite bathroom plus a wider bed. The breakfast was great and offered lots of appetising food. This location was enviable, just off center of Edinburgh and a private Scottish manor house.

Looking for a luxurious and relaxing city break? This elegant hotel offers a haven just outside of the busy city center in a beautiful, tranquil location surrounded by large grassy areas including a small putting green which we really enjoyed. The Rhubarb restaurant in the evening serves consistently superb, tasty food. Our room was well-appointed with modern facilities including a large screen TV with Sky channels. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive delivering the highest customer experience possible. Only slight downside - the snobby members of staff made us uncomfortable.
