I always stay at a place that helped me find my way. It suits me, with Wi-Fi, luggage storage, shuttle, TV, lift. No pets or smoking. I keep returning for romantic escapes.

There is an excellent warm environment in the hotel where you can feel at home. Location is very good which enabled me to go everywhere I want without using any public transport. The staff speaks good English and there is a high speed wireless internet in the hotel.

The great location, 4 minutes from the Vatican, 2 minutes from St Angelo's Castle and 7 minutes from Piaza de Espagne. When we arrived I thought about getting the Roma Pass but we just decided to walk everywhere. Real great location with what you need for a city visit. Staff is good, spend most of their time on facebook but if you interupt them they'll give you all the help you need. Room was spacious even with 2 extra beds inside, shower is a little tight but served perfectly. Free internet in the rooms, great because the tv sucks so you can either watch tv on line or download a few movies.
Not a complaint but what they should invest in are some flat screen TV's in the rooms and a better choice of channels (nothing in any other language besides Italian - good thing I took my lap top so my daughter could watch tv through the internet. Breakfast, great coffee but no fresh bread or cold cuts, very very very basic. Dried toast, packed croissants, jam and butter.

We got great value for our money with a clean and cozy room at Piccolo Imperiale. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Vatican, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast option could use some improvement, perhaps offering a wider variety of choices to cater to different preferences.

The location was ideal, the nearest Metro station being Lepanto. A lovely restaurant at the end of the road called ' raf ' which did lovely pastas and salads and a great litre of house red cost only 10 euros. 5/10 minutes walk to Castel St Angelo, Vatican, Spanish Steps. Very quiet at night and although the beds were a bit hard we would stay there again as the location was great. Breakfast was help yourself and take it to your room and although it was very basic (everything in packets) it was a start to the day and saved money on having breakfast out. The best thing about Piccolo Imperiale was that they organised a taxi to pick us up at the airport which cost 45 euros. The service was excellent and we did the same on the way back. It saved so much time and hassle.
The only slight downside was the chambermaid. She was overly friendly, we couldnt get away from her - in fact she was pushy. It was obvious she wanted us to help her on her much talked about move to London! I'm afraid it got to the stage where we had to be rude and try to avoid her which was difficult as pounced on us at every possible occasion. Hopefully she will have moved on when we go back next year!

It was very special experience... I adored this hotel first night and it seemed normal at the last night. I was lucky and it seemed I was the only guest there so I felt myself very special (and I liked it). But when arrived other guests (some british or american backpackers who were very noisy and returned from parties in the middle of the night). The walls are very thin so if you are lucky anf you will not have any neighbours - you will feel somethinh special, othercase - I'm not sure... The owner were very pleasant and helpful!!!
The breakfast is all the same - there is coffeemachine, croissants, milk, bread and yogurts - maybe for someone there will be a problem (not for me). Anyway there is a supermarket next street

We loved the hotel's location! It was incredibly close to all the Rome attractions we wanted to see, including the Vatican and the Coliseum which we reached easily via bus. The city's best cafes, restaurants, grocery shops, and transport links were also very close by. Our hotel room was well-cleaned and comfortable, with essential facilities such as air conditioning and a good-sized fridge. We also enjoyed the hotel's old-fashioned building which oozed character, and the staff on-site were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being close to many of the attractions and near the bus line to the Coliseum. The area is peaceful and secure, and there are good restaurants and shopping options within six blocks. According to reviews, the rooms are comfortable, well-cleaned, and have a good selection of amenities, like comfy beds.
One aspect that could be better, according to a review, is the selection of TV channels, which makes it challenging to find English-speaking ones.

An ideal place for walks in rome. Everywhere can be reached on foot: the old center, Vatican. Three minutes to the many buses that go into the old city center and metro. Hotel intimate and very romantic, prepare yourself breakfast, available all the time juice and coffee. There is no noise from the street. The building is located in a charming old elevator. Recommended.
The owners need to improve the quality of beds and mattresses for couples. They are very uncomfortable :)
