We loved the traditional Japanese breakfast with miso soup, rice, and egg. The hotel is very close to several subway stations, making transportation a breeze. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.
Nothing for us.

The staff were wonderful hosts. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the hotel was beautifully appointed. We will definitely stay there again and happily recommend it to others.

I will definitely stay in this hotel again! It is mint new, all facilities work perfect, the staff was friendly and always at my service no end. My room was nicely decorated, well equipped (they even put a heated mirror in the bathroom, so it is not fogged when bathing!), sterile clean and all in all charming. The internet connection was super fast. The breakfast was perfect - and it is not an exaggeration - it was amazingly tasty! My best experience with a hotel in Japan so far. For those using a JR Pass this hotel is especially convenient since Chuo line near which it is located is a JR line, as well as main Yamanote circle line. 10 points out of 10!
Japanese style single room is tiny. Of course, it is stupid to expect big rooms in a country so densely populated, but this room IS tiny. No more than 5 square meters - I couldn't even fully open my suitcase inside. It is in no way a complaint since I personally feel that it even adds up to charm, cosiness and authencity of the room - just something to be prepared to for those used to mammoth sized American rooms.

This hotel is located on a quiet street, perfect for a peaceful stay. The rooms are comfortable with enough space for 4 futons and a small bathroom. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfast includes a delicious egg dish that caters to different tastes.
Everything was great, no improvements needed!

I like best the location of the hotel. It's close to the place where I had business. It's easily reachable by public transportation.
Nothing actually, but as every customer would also be, I would be very much happier if the manager of the hotel lower the price of the room a little bit.

Great location on the JR Chuo line and close to public transportation. We enjoyed the Japanese-style breakfast and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel offers a public bath, which we found to be a nice feature.
The room we stayed in was a little tight and did not have much space for our belongings. The breakfast menu remained the same every day, which we felt lacked variety.

The only downside to this hotel is its hard to find location. If you are unfamiliar to Tokyo, please be sure to print out directions in advance. Even the taxi driver got lost though I provided him with the name of the hotel and the address. Otherwise, I had a great experience staying in the traditional Japanese hotel. The rooms are small but are very clean and practical. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and want to experience a Japanese ryokan. Arigatou gozaimasu.

I had a fantastic stay at a well-located hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, and excellent internet connectivity. The public bath was a highlight and added to the authentic experience. The hotel also offers both European and Japanese-style rooms to accommodate different preferences.

Great quiet location, very friendly helpful and polite staff. Close to JR line and subway lines, plenty of good eating options very close by. It was raining when we left and they were kind enough to give us umbrella's at no charge, very nice touch.

Located near several subway and JR stations, this hotel is a convenient home base for exploring the city. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores are within walking distance. The Japanese-style rooms are clean and comfortable, and the public bath is a nice touch. The friendly staff and delicious Japanese breakfast add to the overall positive experience.
Despite the comfortable rooms and amenities, some guests may find the plain decor and basic facilities to be a bit underwhelming.

Stayed at the desk late for us, since we were delayed arriving in Japan. Breakfast was self serve, so we were able to avoid the meat! Amazing bath, but I've already said that in another review!!

Great place and very good value during the week. Excellent location in Ochanomizu, just two stops by jr from Tokyo station. Lovely bath and relaxation room, open all night, and nice simple breakfast. Visited at the beginning and end of our stay in Japan. Only able to get a Western room, since other rooms booked, but the Japanese rooms looked fantastic. Highly recommended.
Found it a little difficult to find the first night we arrived, but this was because we were tired and it was dark. No problem finding it once we asked in Lawsons :)
