Andrew
The hotel is located down the hill, making it convenient and easily accessible to transportation options. It is also in close proximity to the conference center and the CBD, providing convenience for business travelers. The rooms are well-furnished and the bathrooms are kept clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating, addressing any issues and providing necessary amenities. The kitchen facilities are spacious and well-equipped, allowing guests to cook their own meals. The hostel also offers a welcoming and homely atmosphere.
One negative aspect mentioned in a review is that the area surrounding the hotel can be dodgy and not pleasant to walk around in.

The location and the neighbourhood as it's quiet and safe, also a convenient store, a laundry service just across the street and some restaurants nearby. There's a bus stop route 196 right next to the hotel taking you to the Brisbane cbd in no time.
The wall there was thin and every of my 3 nights some students got back late and made noises during very late hours and definitely disrupted my entire sleep. Unfortunately, I also got the room just next to the kitchen so you can't avoid the hassle in the morning and the evening through your closed door.

That the owners have maintained the original features of the building and the large veranda that overlooks the city. Fridge in room useful. THe manager I reported the dirty sheets to offered to refund the night's payment although I refused.
My sheets were dirty with hair and food, clearly they had been slept on. Tv in room was ancient. Owners had meetings in lounge room next to my room and talked until late. Very noisy as walls thin. One of the staff had a strong smell of alcohol at 2 in the afternoon. Limited friendliness. Kitchen was not too clean and sink full of dishes and pans etc (shared kitchen). Only 3 bathrooms for a fullhouse of 20 guests. Damaged blind in room allowed too much light in for sleeping. Remote for tv did not work and one lamp had non-working bulb. Floor needed cleaning; found rubbish on floor.

The nicest staff, the best showers and a brilliant location. As social or as private as you would want. Budget accommodation at its best in a beautifully restored old home, really lovely setting.
Unfortunately a little noisy, but nothing earplugs don't fix.

The kitchen was really well equipped with a variety of utensils and seasonings. The location was great, being close to both the bus stop and train station. It was also within walking distance to the popular South Bank district. the room was clean and had all of the necessary amenities.
The walls were quite thin and we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms. , there were some difficulties getting to the hotel with heavy luggage due to uneven terrain.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in a bustling location. This place is right on the edge, in the middle of the city, with cars driving by at all hours. The service was top-notch, with the staff being efficient and helpful. The room amenities were impressive, with a comfortable sitting area and even a washing machine. The carpeted and parquet floors added a touch of luxury to the space. Additionally, the dining options were fantastic and there was ample parking available. I was extremely pleased with the facilities and leisure options provided here.
I would highly recommend this hotel to families.

Minto is clean, tidy and I was impressed from the start. The room is small yet it is budget accom. The bed is comfortable and staff are very friendly, accommodating and conscious of noise levels when cleaning near rooms. The showers are excellent and that can make all the difference.

Cleanliness: Everything was clean and tidy during our stay. Location: The hotel is close to South Bank and some cute cafes and restaurants. Transportation: There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to the CBD.
Nothing, all great.

I asked for a single room and was given a room with bunks, the window could be opened only 40 cms and not wide enough to use as an exit in case of problem. It's a nice backpacker hostel.
