had a lovely stay in rochefort, hotel exceeded expectations with friendly staff, delicious breakfast and historic charm. would definitely return.

Trying to explore the charming town with rich history, I stayed at a hotel that was nice and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and informative about the town. There were a few restaurants located near the hotel, and they were of good quality. The room was basic but clean with fresh bedding and a clean bathroom. The breakfast was decent, and there was a coffee machine with various options. Although it was not noise-free, the environment was cozy and appropriate for solo travelers. However, a negative aspect was that the hotel did not have a proper parking space.

Very friendly welcome. We arrived quite late but the manager couldn't have been more helpful. He recommended a restaurant nearby (very good, with friendly owner) and even rushed a few doors down the road to book a table for us.He provided us with a map and showed us which areas of interest to visit.A very pleasant stay !

Nice room, but not big for a family as we were travelling. Near a market, if you get there on Fri/Sat. Near other nice places.

Internet didn't work but could be a problem with my PC. No one at reception after 21.00.

You do hear a few street noises early in the morning, if you don't want to be woken too early it's probably not for you.....tea and coffee making facilities would have been great.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Just steps away from the Marine Museum and the "Hermione," it was the perfect location to explore the rich history of Rochefort. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips on what to see in the region. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of bread, cheese, and even pancakes. The hotel itself was charming, with high ceilings and window shutters. I would definitely stay here again.

Room basic but clean - good location for eating out in the evening. Ok for overnight stay.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had a charming feel to it. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the historical attractions and close to local bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was also quite delicious with a variety of offerings to choose from.

There was no lift in the hotel, which made it difficult to carry our heavy luggage up to our room. the parking was a bit of a challenge and required some searching for a spot in the nearby streets.

Only that the restaurant next door but one had excellent food.

It was very basic.

The hotel was good value. The breakfasts were very good. The food was excellent and well presented. The decor in all the rooms was tasteful. The couple who own the hotel were friendly. The location was very good, in the heart of Rochefort, and also very convenient for visiting other places nearby, such as La Rochelle.

We arrived on a Sunday as 17:15. There was a message on the door of the hotel saying that it would open at 18:00. We waited outside. The owners opened the doors at 18:00. After booking in, I pointed out that our booking form says clearly that we could arrive any time after 14:00. They said that on Sunday they open at 18:00 for arrivals. They said that they had tried to get the booking people to state this but that they wouldn'T. I pointed out that if we had arrived at 14:00, for instance, we would have had no access to the hotel for 4 hours. They were not in the least apologetic about the issue, which they insist is not to do with them. I and my wife were not at all amused by this start to our visit. However, we enjoyed our six days at the hotel. If a hotel is not open at its normal time on a particular day (probably Sunday in most cases), why can this not be stated on the booking information? I am perfectly willing to put this information in a separate letter to Logis de France.

The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with a special mention to the large and luxurious bathrooms. Plus, the breakfast was a delightful treat, with a selection of homemade goods including delicious jams.

I always return to this cozy hotel. Friendly staff helped me with money exchange. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a 24-hour security. I love the bar and flat-screen TV. Perfect for hiking and cycling. Can't wait to go back for Christmas!

The newly decorated bedrooms were very comfortable with spacious rooms for a family of four. The bathrooms were nice, featuring a good shower. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread and jam. The owner was extremely helpful, recommending places to eat and providing advice for exploring the town.

Felt truly spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.
