Individual guest reviews

    5.0

Hotel grounds were nice, lots of sunloungers and pool was big.

None of the staff spoke much English, no activities aimed at English people and staff were quite rude. Also the hotel is a bit far from anywhere.

I thought the Kenzi Club Oasis was a nice place to stay, nice room the beds had fresh flowers scattered on the bed every day, rooms were dated but for the Morocco feel i was pleased with the effect, The grounds were lovely nice pool general feel was nice just what i expected from Morocco. The food was fine for me but it didnt have a great selection if your a bit fussy ,and for small children the choice was not good. Drink was plenty full. The hotel was French predomantly as the country is french speaking.Great value for money on my part for a short stay as we did 4 days and the birds singing all day was great to.

Lots of flies when we were there as it was very hot

We really enjoyed the pool and the gardens which the hotel are set in, they are kept beautifully. Staff are very friendly and helpfull.

We found the food very repetitive as we were all inclusive for 5 nights, and ended up with dodgy tummies :( The wine which you get at lunch and dinner is really good though! You must drink at least 2 litres of water per day or you will end up very dehydrated but water is readily available so no problems there.

Food was with lot of varieties and mostly tasty. Room - clean and big enough for couple, most of time being out for traveling around and swiming pool. Environment well treated in resort.

It was bit difficult to communicate in English. It was clear orientation to french speaking people. With this - limited participation in activities and understanding of shows. Should take care of transportations from and to hotel from Marrakesh. On last day going to city and then to airport bus were delaying at least 20min and nobody was able to explain will it come at all. All other times when shuttle bus were used it was very much on time.

The staff were very good, although this is a Hotel aimed at French Tourists there was always some one who had enough English to help. The room was adequate and clean. There was plenty of food but it was boring after a couple of days. The Gardens are very attractive and well kept.

There was a very active and noisy Entertainments Program that destroyed any peace with-in the complex. This is not the place to go for a restful holiday. This was not the right hotel for us but would be ok for anyone wanting a loud party hotel.

The hotel was in the most stunning grounds, literally an oasis in the middle of the desert. Everything was so lush and green, beautiful flowers everywhere and birds singing and swooping all around. Very well kept gardens and grounds. A fantastic array of sports facilities, we particularly enjoyed the archery! We were all inclusive and pleasantly surprised with the variation of the food throughout the day and no two days were the same. The staff were a highlight of our stay, always friendly and willing to help, especially when you leave your sunglasses lying around the pool!! Lying around the pool/in the grounds was so peaceful and relaxing, we didn't want to leave. Also, the free shuttle bus into town was very convenient and efficient.

The room wasn't as nice as I would have expected for 4* but it was cheap so we weren't ones to complain. The room was kept very clean and was cleaned/bed was made every day. We would have preferred a little more guidance after getting off the shuttle bus in town. We had no idea where to go, people were just wandering off in different directions. We probably should have asked at reception before we got on the bus.

The place is located outside of Marrakesh and is very beautiful. It had lots of programs and activities for the guests ie dance class, aerobics, Arabic classes, tennis, volleyball, etc. It also had a very nice swimming pool and beautiful landscaping within the premises.

They were overbooked when we first arrived and wanted to move us to a hotel in the centre of Marrakesh. After an hour they found room for us, however the initial check-in was not at all welcoming.

The grounds were beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit amongst the orange trees, sipping cocktails by the fountains and watching the world go by! The food was excellent too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole complex is very well looked after, and the staff were always busy maintaining the surroundings.

It's not so much a dislike, but as previous reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is absolutely aimed at French tourists. This is not a problem in itself, as mixing with other cultures and nationalities is part of going on holiday abroad, and I do speak other foreign languages, but French isn't one of them! However, it might have been nice to have had the entertainment in English too, as in other holiday resorts, the entertainment staff were multi-lingual. The staff show in the theatre was very amateur -like, but that was only a minor complaint!

The staff were excellent. The pool was lovely and the gardens very well kept.

The time that the courtesy bus took you into marrakesh were a little spread out, could have done with being more regular.

When we arrived we wernt sure what to expect.....the staff were lovely ,helpfull ,friendly. The Hotel was lovely yes its was old and needed a coat of paint here and there, but it was an amazing place, me and my 5 friends loved it. The first time we have been and we will go back again for sure. For me the spa treatment was amazing that was my no1 treat to me...We loved this place the staff, the little birds that sung all day and the frogs that croaked all night. Food and drink was grt amazing value for money.....Thank you to all the staff for a grt Holiday....we will be back .....

Well no white wine other than that it was grt...

relaxing at the outside terrace, whilst enjoying all the food and drink on offer

we only stopped for 3 days so it wasnt a problem, but, the hotel is mainly french orientated. A british family would feel like outsiders

it doesn't deserve even -1 star, hotel of the stone ages.Everything is worn-out door, window,TV and bed.very bad smell in a restaurant. To reach the hotel you need a guide, map and GPS,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe you will find it,scary location and so far.Can you believe that citizens did not know where the location of the hotel????the hotel is not furnished well.If they ask me to stay at that hotel free next time,i wouldn't agree.

I loved the huge, established garden that was alive with little birds. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the hotel staff extremely friendly.

Although the sports amenities were available in terms of tennis courts, table tennis, swimming pool, football pitch etc, we could not use them to their full potential as the provision of equipment was patchy, the floodlights couldn't be switched on and the pool was unheated. If these things were improved on, we would definitely go again

  • Older travelers
    6.2

Staff are excellent. Rooms are very tired, dark (even with lights on) and in desperate need of updating and renovation.

The room. Also both my partner and I went down with a stomach bug (possibly food poisoning) whilst there.

  • Family with children
    6.2

clean surroundings, good for families in they want a resort experience in Marrakech as the hotel had a shuttle bus for trips into Marrakech.

The food was not very good, poor choice for vegetarians. We had to upgrade to all inclusive due to the distance from Marrakech.
