Huge, modern room with all the facilities, spa bath, as for instance.

I came here with my wife. The breakfast was great with a lot of food. The location was nice rural in restaurant or bar. Besides, I were really close to a working farm and Barnard Castle and other Historic venues.

My bed was very comfy and the room was reasonably large with my 3 adult children in the family suite.

The room we booked was new-fashioned and huge with coffee, 2 bedrooms, as example.

The hotel is an interesting visual experience, with eclectic designs & decor from room to room. The breakfast buffet and dinner carvery are excellent. We were "up-graded" from a double & a single to a two-bedroomed suite, with bathroom and open-plan lounge & kitchen/diner, which was excellent and allowed us to fully enjoy a late checkout.

Excellent location with very helpful, friendly staff. Rooms of a very high standard, spotlessly clean and of modern design. Restraunt is amazing, excellent menu and excellent carvery. A perfect place for a weekend break or meeting up wth family or friends for a meal.
No complaints whatsoever!!!

the location was excellent as was the breakfast and the restaurant .the staff were also nice and friendly.
the room was rather warm but we could keep the window open and the tap seemed more fancy than practical due to previous guests making it loose.

Lovely setting, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent. The gardens and outdoor areas were very well maintained and were a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. Facilities were good.
Upstairs was incredibly hot. The bed was very hard, although very spacious. The pillows needed replacing as they were hard and flat.
