The comfortable service at this location for a reasonable price!

The stairways are a bit narrow and steep, to carry luggage.

Friendly service. Spacious room. Affordable rate. Free wifi. Close to 24hr food services.

Location, pricing and value were good. The hotel is old and the rooms are cramped.

Internet not reliable

We only stayed there for one night and it was the cheapest I could find in the centre of Chicago. We got an upgrade and stayed in the suite which was huge! So value for money! There is free parking on the hotelsite which is great if you travel bij car and the hotel is in a great location in near north Chicago. The staff was really friendly.

There was free wifi, but very slow. Maybe because the hotel was completely full and a lot of people were using internet.

Very central and close to transport. Despite central location quiet and comfortable.

While this is a much older hotel, it is clean and in a good location. The staff also kindly allowed us to check in early, which we very much appreciated.

Very handy location looking like a motel from days gone by. There is a fantastic little diner attached to the premises offering proper American style breakfasts. It is within easy walking distance of the "L" system

This hotel is a basic hotel but has all you really need for a budget hotel. It is in a good position with local restaurants and is very close to the tube and Michigan Ave. It has a cafe on site which is really good and very good value with friendly staff and nice coffee and very big breakfasts!

The decoration is a bit tired and needs updating but other than that all good.

I liked the proximity to the loop of Chicago. The hotel was easy to access from the expressway and also had free parking available. The restaurant for breakfast was also convenient. The desk staff was helpful and there were plenty of tourist information in the lobby.

I would have liked to see a mattress pad and fitted bottom sheet. The sheet kept coming loose and exposed the bare mattress. There was also a bit of an "Icy Hot" smell in the room. (It was good the windows opened). Other than that, it was comfortable.

Ms. Daisy ?????was very knowledgeable and offered great sight seeing suggestions.

It is a little old, but I'm willing to accept that for the location is fantastic for one wishing to do things downtown

Number 1 is location, cannot beat it for the price. Great access to downtown and area attractions with free parking, wifi and great Cafe on site. Security guard on site at night and staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are dated but clean and quiet. There are elevators to upper level which helped with luggage and elderly parent. A friend recommended this hotel to me. Will definitely stay here again.

Very bad experience. very old hotel (inn). The staff service was terrible and not friendly at all.

The staff was civil.

The room was a total dive. The room was only marginally clean. Cabinets were is disrepair. Poorly decorated. I will not recommend this hotel, ever! In addition, I will never use Booking. Com, ever again.

That it was in the downtown

I didn t have service to call a sure taxi, and it didn t have a computer to send an e mail

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom small, but clean; good internet connection. It was a bit expensive I thought for the kind of motel it was, but it met our needs perfectly.
