We were impressed with the blend of old and new at Vila Gale. The ancient palace entrance and modern complex behind provided a unique and amazing design. The rooms were spacious and offered stunning ocean views. The breakfast was really great too. we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel.

Satisfactory and very pleasant breakfast, a wide range of food and beverages. New-fashioned and huge units available with soaking tubs, great bathroom, as for instance. Marvellous location near the outer villages around, Lisbon or Cascais where restaurants on the waterfront at walking distance from the end stations can be found and Lisbon airport.

We stayed in a small village with excellent restaurants close by. Our spacious room had an unobstructed ocean view and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, and the gardens and outside pool were well-maintained. the location was perfect for exploring Lisbon without being in the city center.

The hotel had a great combination of old-style charm with modern amenities. We really enjoyed the pool area and gardens – perfect for a relaxing Easter break. The location was ideal, with just a short train ride to the nearby city with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was a bit of a letdown. , we were disappointed to learn that we had to pay extra for a swimming cap, which wasn't mentioned on the website.
