The location of this hotel is fantastic - within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Pantheon. There are great outdoor restaurants just a half a block away. The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, with fresh linens...

Location and price were great. It was very clean and comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was actually on a roof deck with a decent Italian style breakfast. We did not have any disappointments with this hotel. It actually exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in many hotels throughout Italy, and 4 in Rome, so we were aware of the possibility of some problems. We had no problems...air conditioning worked, plenty of hot water, very clean bed and bath, pleasant staff. What more could you ask for?
I would have liked a balcony with a view! Really, we were totally happy with this hotel.

We loved the location of the hotel, right in the heart of the action. It's close to everything in the central part of town, with great shopping, restaurants, and gelato just a stone's throw away. Plus, it's very close to the Metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with big windows offering views of the bustling streets. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
The lobby/bar area could use some updating.

Very recommended hotel! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute. Near the hotel you have many restaurants and coffee shops. Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location. The breakfast is served on the roof porch with beautiful city view and there is very nice atmosphere. The breakfast itself was quite good as well. The wifi in the room was good.
Take to your consideration that the small rooms with french bed are pretty small, but definitely enough for someone that doesn't come with too high expectations; eventually very good value for your money.

We really enjoyed having breakfast on the roof and the quality of the breakfast with delicious tomato bruschetta ready at 7:00 am !! Also very efficient concierge for the réservation on visits / shopps and thanks a lot to keep our luggage the last day ... To really recommend for the location / service / price .. We really enjoyed our stay with our 3 children ..
May be the suite was a little too small ...

My stay at Hotel Madrid was fantastic. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk away from all the main attractions. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even stored my luggage while I explored Sicily. The breakfast spread was delicious, especially the cappuccinos. The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of sightseeing. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.

Perfect location, Friendly staff, We got upgraded to a suite. Linen and towels changed every morning and the room was kept very clean. Nice outlook from the 5th floor breakfast room. A bit shabby may be but fits well with the Rome atmosphere. We did like it !

Hotel Madrid is the best place to stay in Rome, because it is near to the most significant sights on foot, e.g. Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and next to metro for Colosseo and Vaticano. The room was the same with the reservation booking, quite, spacious with big bathroom, everyday clean towels, breakfast with a lot of options and very good capuccino. The staff (seek for Antonio) was willing to give information for everything in english, something rare in Rome and the reception was 24hour.If I come back, I surely stay at the same hotel.
