Had a really nice stay for more then 1 night. My room was fashionable with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a nice hot breakfast. It was in the central location in the Lake District.

The hotel's position was pleasant, due to corporate events. Plus, it was just off the restaurant at the last minute, York race course and town centre, and the first bridge.

I thoroughly enjoyed helpful service.
The room I booked was warm, good value and with beautiful views, high quality toiletries, a lovely free-standing bath. The hotel's location was marvellous, close enough to river and centre as well as other local restaurants. Dining bar Trinacria Sicilian Cafe Bar located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The hotel was in a great position just next door to the real centre and many pubs/bars. I usually went to Pizza Choice to grab a bite.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.
