I recently stayed at Hostal Teatro Inka and had a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and the shower always had hot water. The location of the hostel is really good, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I had a positive experience at Hostal Teatro Inka and would highly recommend it to others.

Cozy room with a private bathroom, spotlessly clean, and overlooking a peaceful courtyard. 😊

The room was warm and nicely decorated. There was a storage area and even coffee available in the room. The meals were fresh and delicious. The location was particularly good, with a short walk to restaurants, handcraft stores, the historic center, and the main square.

the location was excellent, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a grand cathedral. the rooms were great little and neat here with cable tv, a private bath plus four beds.
The staff was not very welcoming.

During our stay at Hostal Teatro Inka, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent location and the comfortable room. The proximity to the center of Cusco made it convenient for exploring the city and experiencing its vibrant atmosphere. We also appreciated the peacefulness of the street where the hostel is located, allowing us to have a quiet and relaxing time.
Although we encountered a few minor inconveniences, such as the limited English proficiency of the staff and the need to pay extra for certain amenities, these did not overshadow the overall enjoyable stay at Hostal Teatro Inka.

Beautiful patio and fast internet (wi-fi). Free mate available 24/7.
Absent-minded staff. Within 3 days we spoke to at least 10 persons, who seem not to communicate with each other, which makes any arrangements difficult. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely cold!

Stayed here for two non-consecutive nights and had a better experience the second night than the first. Awesome location: very close to the main Plaza and within walking distance of everything we did in Cusco. The second night we were in a double on the second floor which was small, but we weren't spending much time in the room. Water was very hot and great pressure. Free coca tea for the altitude. Friendly, English- speaking staff. Front desk called us a taxi to the airport which arrived in less than 10 minutes and was about S. 12 (less than the 25 we had paid to get there). The hotel seemed clean and there were warm blankets for the beds, which was good because it was cold. Cute courtyard. Free wireless and 15 minutes free per guest on the computer.
The first night in the triple room was not so good. The room was huge, but that made it very cold (in February, Peruvian summer), but the smaller double room we had the next night was warmer. There was no hot water at all in the shower (though to be fair, we didn't tell them at the desk until afterwards, when they said they could fix it). There was breakfast but it started at 6:30 and we left before that both mornings. Overall not the best experience, but also pretty cheap ($39 for a triple).

Bedding was extremely disgusting - there was blood on my sheets. And there was a chain smoker of some sort smoking nonstop from 2-4am (not to mention chatting with some lady for that whole duration).

This place was a total gem! The rooms were cozy and warm, with a private bathroom and hot water that never ran out. The staff was super friendly and gave me great tips for exploring the city. Plus, the location was perfect - close to all the main attractions and easy to navigate. , the complimentary breakfast was delicious and the tea was a lifesaver for altitude sickness.
That one staff member tried to scam us and take extra money. However, overall, the staff was friendly and helpful.
