Great location - just off Istiklal Street and near a lot of restaurants and buzzing nightlife. At the same time we could also walk to Sultanahmet and the historic part of the city from here. Very comfortable beds and very well appointed apartment.

This is a real self catering apts. The furniture is beautiful and high quality and appliances are top products. We rented 2 units; the penthouse which was very large with a glass living room and a triple bedroom which would have been perfect for two. General location is nice next to the Galata Tower and a few minutes walk to the Galata tunnel and Istiklal road. In summary, if you depend on yourself for services as airport transfers, tour planning, directions, etc. this is an excellent pick.

Although general location was nice, the alley were the building is is a bit dark at night but save. Internet was not istalled yet which was annoying but Murat, the manager provided an internet dungle which partially solved the problem. He indicated they are working on it. Also, there is a microwave, not an oven, and no toaster. Despite of this, we really enjoyed staying there.

The apartments are well appointed and allow for complete self catering. The location is great for walking through some of the interesting parts of the city and good shopping areas.

The apartments have double glazing which significantly reduces street noise, but some late night street activities can still be a little intrusive.

Fantastic location - a stones throw from Galata Tower. Was met and shown the apartment with no hassles. All the facilities were very high spec and it was a lovely place to stay for our short trip. Would recommend.

The shower although good pressure was a bit temperamental and went from hot to cold. The floor could have done with a extra sweep. More than one toilet roll should be available for a 4 day stay.

If you're traveling with a family of four, it's hard to find lodgings in Istanbul unless you rent two rooms -- a too-expensive option, for us! Furthermore, if your kids are teenagers, sleeping four in a single room is just too much of a nuisance. Galata Tower vip Apt. Suites was a great find, allowing we parents and our kids to sleep in separate rooms. Excellent location -- right near Galata Tower, but on a (relatively) quiet street. This area is preferable to Sultanahmed since it is between the attractions of the "old city" and the pleasures of the new, including Istiklal. Very nice apartment: well furnished, clean bathroom, good AC, and comfortable furniture. The combo washer/dryer worked well and was a god-send each day after walking in the summer heat. Also, the place was "non-smoking," still a relative rarity in Istanbul. The manager was very helpful and pleasant.

Everything was great. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He offered us a choice between smaller and bigger appartment. And he gave us all necessary tips where we can find good restaurants, supermarkets or what sights we should see. Location was excellent. Very close to Galata Tower, few minutes walk from Istiklal shopping street and it's a walking distance to Sultanahmet. It's a private building, we had keys from our appartment, everything you may need: little kitchen, living room, bedroom was inside, clean and very good designed. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Istanbul in the future and we will reccomend it to our friends. Thank you.

It was a little bit hard to find it, because there is no sign. But we asked people around and they helped us.

It was very nice to stay there as it was very close to the Galata Tower as it was very beautiful, the location was near to the metro station, good shops for buying your need from food, fruits, nice cafes & restaurants. The apartment was very clean and you can find every thing you need for daily & family life. The staff there was very nice, kind & helpful.

Room not enough for 4 person stay overnight.

The furnishings n facilities are excellent. Great location very close to the Galata Tower with lots of restaurants n clubbing.

If u need to get a staff or reception to help around the clock, it is impossible.

Very well appointed, modern apartments in an old building. (We were 12 people staying in 6 apartments). Excellent location - none of us had visited Istanbul before and we were definitely in the right part of town. The suite representative's office is next door and the gentleman was on hand to help most of the time and if not there was a telephone number to contact him.

On first sight the road in which the apartment building stands looks unattractive, especially on arriving at night. However, in daylight and after a good night's sleep we realised we had definitely chosen well! However, the construction work in the street was sometimes noisy during the day.

Had an excellent time staying at VIP Galata Apartments. Excellent location, very high standards and friendly staff. The view from the roof top was just simply breathtaking.

Thought the Bathroom was a bit awkward specially when staying with friends.

Excellent facilities, well located, pretty good value, helpful staff.

The location was excellent with access to most locations by foot or by metro. Mr. Cagdan was extremely helpful from arranging transport from and to the airport. He provided us with maps and details for sightseeing. The apartment came will all the amenities including stove, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and pots and pans. Linen was clean. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is visiting - definitely value for money.

The apartment a somewhat smaller than what appears in the photographs - but that did not matter, we went back there only to sleep.
