The hotel was charming, with beautiful decor and cozy common areas. The attention to detail in the decoration gave the whole place a warm and welcoming feel. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The elevators were spacious and easily accessible, and there were handrails throughout the building to assist with mobility. It made my stay comfortable and convenient.
I would have loved to see more accommodating options for senior individuals, such as grab bars in the bathroom or additional assistance for those with limited mobility. It would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

Friendly welcome. Night porter so open 24 hours. Good standard German style buffet breakfast, from 7.00 am at weekends. Only 10 minutes by bus 120/124 to Hbf station, and hotel only 100 yards from bus stop. Also walkable from Rothenburgsort S-bahn station. Close to Elbe river. Quite quiet location for a city.

I keep coming back to my favorite spot. They helped me find my lost item. It's simply perfect, with Wi-Fi, Flat-screen TV, Lift, and a Golf course. No pets or smoking. I'll be back for my holiday.

Room was tiny with no tea or coffee making facilities. Close to transport. Staff were friendly, but for €79 a night with a good breakfast which included hot dishes, it was excellent value for money. Close to bus stop which gave easy access to the city.
Just the size of the room and the area may put some people off.

We had a wonderful stay at a clean and cozy hotel in Hamburg. The rooms were just like the pictures, and there were clean towels, toiletries, and complimentary water. The self-service check-in made everything easy.

We had booked this hotel for 3 nights online in May 2012. The location of the hotel is within a fairly short bus ride to the main train station, from which most city or other excursions originate, as this station is the hub of the city, right in the business and shopping district. Also, from there one can even start most city and waterfront explorations by foot, with shopping and restaurant galore s along the way. The purchase of the hamburg card (14.00 euro) is strongly recommended if one is planning to make use of any attractions since this card not only allows one to use all modes of city transport (Bus, subway, ferry) and for up to 5 people, but it also entitles one for many discounts incl. The main attractions like harbour/city tours, miniatur train land, museums etc. and quickly adds up to a noticeable saving. If only interested in using public transport, a group ticket (again for up to 5 people) can be bought from the bus driver but only after 9 am. For 9.90 euro. Also free internet access can be had inside the room if asked for the w-lan code at the desk, and the breakfast buffet is ok
The main thing we did not like about the hotel is the lack of even a small fridge inside the room, especially if hot outside and one would like a cold drink at any time. The rooms - we had "Economy" are extremely small, and the noise from traffic even during night can be disturbing especially since there is no air condition in the room. Very limited space to even place a second piece of luggage. The beds were comfy and the place was clean, but the only elevator designed for 4 people would make it impossible to carry any luggage if filled to capacity. Even just 2 people with one full size suitcase will feel crammed. I would use this hotel again if for a short stay and just to sleep, but not for extended stays. Even Economy is not cheap, but I guess Hamburg as a whole is not the place to save money.

Convenient Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Hamburg-Mitte, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
Limited Beverage Options: The availability of hot drink facilities in the hotel could be improved.

very good value-for-money (at least my rate) for a hotel in Hamburg and if you prefer slightly smaller/cosier hotels; modern, clean and comfortable room; very good breakfast; located close to residential area; was travelling by car - so I cannot comment on public transport connections; approx. 5 km from downtown; reserved parking for extra fee in the basement garage recommended

Perfect location for peaceful walks by the scenic Elbewanderweg route and easy access to public transport. I loved the complimentary newspapers and elevator, such luxurious amenities! Such a treat to explore the natural beauty of Alster Lakes.
Blocked fire exit with containers, how thoughtful and considerate! Absolutely fabulous!

The bus stop was only a few minutes away and it was easy to get around the city. The staff was extremely helpful in giving directions and answering our questions. The room was always clean and well organised.
The room was incredibly small, it was difficult to move around with two people and there was barely any space to put our luggage. The bed and the pillows were uncomfortable which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite small but we only stayed for two nights so it was fine for that time. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The garage was quite awkward to access with a big car (there were six of us in the car).

The grotty pub next door is surprisingly handy for a late-night pint before bed, and the regular bus service just down the street makes exploring the city center super convenient. The night porter was kind, the room was quiet, and the staff went above and beyond, even preparing a lunch packet for my early departure. The location was perfect for buses to the city center, and the receptionist gave me awesome tips and prepared a to-go breakfast. The basic but clean rooms and varied breakfast were great, and the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. Be sure to check out the park by the river just a block away. Free wi-fi, flat-screen tv, lift, golf course nearby, no pets allowed, and no smoking on site.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff, particularly the Hungarian man mentioned in one review, are friendly, helpful, and informative. The hotel's location in the Rothenburgsort area allows for easy access to major motorways and public transportation. The rooms are clean and equipped with all the basic amenities, including a hairdryer and plenty of TV channels. The breakfast provided is plentiful and tasty, catering to both continental and English tastes.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.
