Buttermilk Lodge Guest Accommodation is a great choice for a honeymoon trip. The hotel serves delicious breakfasts. The well-appointed rooms offer beautiful views and extra amenities. The staff is very helpful and excellent. The service is very efficient.

was an excellent home base for trip. the stay here was pleasant during my visit. the room was comfortable quiet and well-organised, especially a pleasant view of the mountains from the window. the room had tea, coffee, thoughtful tea making facilities, and a lounge. the staff was helpful and excellent and the host too. the location was wonderful - close to which again was a wonderful surprise and clifden castle. furthermore, in the outskirts of clifden.

We were thrilled with our stay at Buttermilk Lodge! The warm welcome and delicious tea and cake in the lounge made us feel right at home. The spacious and immaculate bedroom was so comfortable, and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. The variety of food was outstanding, and we loved the daily specials. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center. The only drawback was a slight hike up the hill, but it was easily manageable. we highly recommend this fantastic accommodation.

Owners were incredible hospitality was unbeatable. Little extras like afternoon tea, cake, internet all made this very memorable. They also helped my wife take photos with sheep to make our honeymoon memorable

The staff was kind and the breakfast was lovely. The room was exceptional and absolutely gorgeous, with coffee and an iron provided. The location was marvellous, really close to Clifden, Kylemore Abbey, and the National Park, as well as an easy ride to the gorgeous Connemara National Park. it was only 3 km from Clifden Castle. My first night in NW Ireland was great overall.

The location of this hotel is perfect, with just a short walk into town and a short drive to the beautiful Connemara area. The staff were attentive and the rooms were clean, warm, and very well-appointed. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options including homemade jams and pastries. Additionally, the free internet was a convenient feature during our stay.

The guest accommodation is conveniently located just outside the center of Clifden, within easy walking distance to the town's pubs and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring comfortable beds and flat-screen TVs. The bathrooms are also sizable, with some even including a bathtub. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering little touches like USB chargers, walking guides, and even cake upon arrival.

Some guests may find the limited interaction and minimal communication from the host Patrick to be off-putting.

Excellent greeting. It was our only B&b that greeted us with tea and a snack. The pancakes rocked our world!
