The design of the suites was very nice, the rooms were quite large.
The hotel is located right next to a road, this means that from various room terraces/balconies and the pool you can clearly see the road and hear the cars. This is unfortunate when you are trying to enjoy the beautiful view of the caldera. Not all items on the breakfast menu are very well prepared (cereal was old, toast was under cooked).

Staff was FRIENDLY and we appreciated our stay. Our favorite hotel in Akrotiri, we strongly recommend it. The an outdoor swimming pool.

The breakfast served to the room was absolutely wonderful, with a wide range of options. The setting and views over the caldera were jaw-dropping. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was great to have the outdoor spa right outside the room, as well as the sparkling clean main pool and pool bar. Unlike other accommodations, this place provided privacy and our own space. The location was close to the archaeological site and Red Beach, and the bathroom lighting and shower were mind-blowing.

The Avant Garde Suites in Akrotiri provided us with the perfect secluded getaway. Unlike other options in central Thira, we enjoyed privacy and our own space. The breakfast each morning was brilliant, with a decent range of options, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We never had trouble finding space by the pool, and the staff were excellent and always willing to help. our stay at the Avant Garde Suites was everything we could have asked for and more.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a nice suite with private terrace overlooking the beautiful caldera. Breakfast was made à la carte and at time of choice it was put on the terrace table. Really nice to start the day. The hotel is at the south side of the island which is not overcrowded by the (cruiseship) tourist. It's close to some nice beaches. Interesting attractions in the neighbourhood are: the archeological site of Akrotiri, the lighthouse for sunset and the marina port of Vlychada (where you should eat at to psaraki which is the most excellent taverna of the island) in which you can take an amazing trip with captain Ted's catamaran (www.santorinisailing.com).
No major issues. The jacuzzi temperature was not at 36°c as we like it and the pool is not being heated but that's no different in other Santorini hotels.

Everything was as perfect as the view! The modern layout and minimalist design furniture added a touch of sophistication to our stay. We loved the convenience of the iPhone stereo dock, netbook with internet, and NBA playoffs on TV. The breakfast was delicious and the cocktails were great. The staff, especially Panos, went above and beyond to make our stay blissful. I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking views and impeccable service.

What a beautiful hotel. The hotel is in a quiet little village with the most spectacular views looking over the caldera. We were so in love with the place we know we will be back again. There is a local bus which stops just out the front of the hotel which will take you into Fira. The breakfast was fantastic and served on your balcony. We had a room with a heated jacuzzi, which was a complimentary upgrade by the hotel. The facilities are new and beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. If you are looking at going to Santorini and want a quiet get away well away from the hussle and bussle of Fira then this is the place to be. If you like funky and modern then this is the place for you. By the way we were in the Blue room. Magnificent.
The bathroom is a little on the small side which is in contrast to the rest of the villa. Still a small complaint.

We had the best stay at this hotel. The panoramic views of the Caldera from the hotel were absolutely stunning. The hotel's location, right on the cliff side overlooking the Caldera, provided us with breathtaking views throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, including the beautiful pool area and the convenience of on-site parking. The hotel's location outside of the popular towns Oia and Fira provided us with a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, yet still within close proximity to two convenience stores. We also appreciated the convenience of the reputable rental company that picked us up at the hotel.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The view was excellent and the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful....anything and everything you ask for they were there for you and very courteous. They could give you tips about the island which you will never find in some books or the net.

I cannot even begin to describe how mind-blowing our stay was at this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking caldera views. With a super spacious property and no stairs to navigate, we felt like we had our own private oasis. The staff were absolutely jaw-dropping, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfast spread was fantastic, delivering hot and delicious treats right to our door. We couldn't get enough of the stunning pool area, complete with beach umbrellas and plenty of space to relax. And let's not forget the convenience of on-site parking and the option for room service from the reasonably priced snack bar. This place truly exceeded all our expectations and we can't wait to return.

Avant Garde Suites is a design hotel with a fresh and modern language. A great concept. Having free internet with private use of a laptop in each room, good tvs, aircondition, great breakfast in the room, nice staff, together with the most breathtaking view to the caldera...wow.
The only thing against the hotel is the surroundings. Nothing seems to happen in Akrotiri. The town really needs to wake up.
