The owner was very welcoming and helpful, was excellent that they were able to pick us up and drop us off at the airport for a small fee. The apartment was spacious, the balcony was very large and the apartment was very clean. Excellent seas views. It was a short 5 minute walk from the main centre, there is a hill/stairs that wasn't a problem for us but that could be difficult if you were elderly or had mobility issues. Very happy with our stay at Villa Ana and would definitely recommend it.

Villa Ana was a fabulous place to stay. The apartments (and we had two - a top floor and bottom floor) were both spotlessly clean, very well furnished and set in a delightful quiet location (just a 5 min walk down the hill into the village) with glorious views across the sea. All the facilities (showers, fridges, cookers etc) and towels etc (including beach towels) were all of good quality. The owner, Željka, couldn't have been more helpful and also helps with transfers to and from the airport (at a cost no different to local taxis). Cavtat itself is a beautiful location to stay - a variety of places to swim, good restaurants and walks and so easy for Dubrovnik and the airport. We'd certainly recommend both Cavtat and Villa Ana as places to stay.

Having had an exhausting journey from Mljet we arrived at around 19.30 to find a lovely, immaculate and extremely comfortable apartment. All facilities were excellent with a large balcony to enjoy the view over the bay towards Dubrovnik from. Although quite a steep walk back from town the position of the apartment more than compensated for this and it became less of a chore each time. We only had 4 nights here before flying home but would happily spend a week or more.
There was nothing to 'not like'. If I have a critisism it would be the charge for the airport transfer, which we thought was included in the cost of the apartment and at 100 Kuna seemed rather excessive for a journey of only 2k.

Very nice place. Great town. The women running this guest house are incredibly helpful, they went above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. Cavtat is a great alternative to staying in Dubrovnik, you can take boats to Dubrovnik very easily.
I don't mind but some people might, Cavtat is right under the flight path of the airport so you get fairly loud plane landings over head. It was not quite high season when we stayed so flights were not that frequent. The town below is beautiful but in some ways Croatia at its worst. The restaurants are very expensive, as we often saw in Croatia more than 1st tier sites in France, Italy, or Spain. The Croatians don't seem to understand this yet, you can't out price Paris or London, especially in a country that is still rounding out its rough edges.

The view from the balcony of a top floor apartment onto the town and bay and surrounding water at Cavtat was spectacular. Apartment was spotless and had all the comforts inside and out (free wireless, TV, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, great pressure in shower and outside deck w loungers and chairs w cushions). The owner, Ana, has a tremendous personality and is very helpful and enthusiastic. She speaks only a little English (German and Croatian her main languages) but makes up for it with her exhuberance and extra effort (calls her neice who helps over the phone in English). It is at the top of a hill and you think you will have to walk the switchbacks into Cavtat but just 25 yards out the door at the end of the first turn, there are stairs that take you right into the center of Cavtat with great restaurants and in front of the Post Office and the public toilettes (which are the nicest I have seen in Europe - 3kn). The Cavtat promenade is beautiful and relaxing and every place we ate was delicious and the service welcoming (especially Ivan's a recommendation from Ana). Walking back is 5 minutes up hill so just be aware of this. It is also a quick and easy drive down to the marina with a parking lot (we were there on the shoulder season so this might be crowded normally). Parking is free and spacious at Ana's. What a terrific apartment in a terrific town with great proximity to Dubrovnik (I prefer to stay here and visit there). Highly recommend. We will be back and Ana's will be our first choice!

We booked the top floor with a large sunny balcony, which had fabulous views across the very picturesque bay and Dubrovnik.in the distance. Apartment was large, airy, very clean and had good facilities, including a dishwasher (though there are plenty of lovely restaurants along the bay in Cavtat so why you'd want to spend much time cooking I'm not sure... ) Kitchen has all the necessaries if you do want to cook and there is a small supermarket in Cavtat old town, with a fresh fruit and veg market immediately opposite to it. Lovely apartment in a beautiful and unspoilt little town with a great deal of character and charm.
Villa Ana is just a few minutes walk outside the old town of Cavtat and on a hill - that hill could be a bit of a trek in the heat of June but as we've been to Cavtat on several occasions we knew what to expect. However, it is well worth the effort for the wonderful views from the apartment and unless you have major mobility problems shouldn't be a major hindrance.

Villa Ana is up the hill in Cavtat with an ocean view. We had the 2 bed - 2 bath apartment on the main with a patio and room for the car at the door. We liked the location and the kitchen facility. The pricing was fair,
The walk uphill from town would be strenuous for some- it's quite steep and about 2 blocks long. One of the bathrooms is very small and crowded - we kept bumping our head on the water heater. The chairs make into some kind of bed and they slip down to a slouch position- very uncomfortable.

The Villa is close to the town centre but has a bit of a steep climb in the heat - which didn't bother us. It was extremely clean and lovely for a long weekend in a beautiful location. The views from the apartment are fabulous.
