Location and staff both excellent. Also great to find a place that accommdates two adults and three children. Some hotels wanted us to take three rooms for five of us!!
Old carpet, narrow stairs and bathroom was not that user-friendly with no bench dpace ad reversed hot/cold taps - had a cold shower first night thinking that there was no more hot water!

Our stay in 37 Collingham Place was absolutely great. I have never met so much friendly and helpful staff, especially thank to George and also his colleagues. We will definitely come back again. Thank you all for wonderfull stay, which makes our shopping holiday very special.

I liked the price. It had a kitchenette in the room and wifi. Close to Earls Court. Shower had hot water.
Shower needs re-tiling.

The staff were really friendly, and helped me to print off some tickets that had been delayed. Also we were allowed to leave our bag until we were ready to leave the city. The location was pretty good, only a couple of minutes walk to Earls Court Tube. The room was warm and had plenty of hot water.
The blinds didn't work very well - could do with replacing. Also no hairdryer, and no milk portions for hot drinks, although they provided tea and coffee. (There was a fridge in the room so we bought our own milk) no tea spoons.

Dirty. Grimey rooms & halls. Uncomfortable beds, dirty bathrooms. Looked like a nasty bedsit. Very poor value.. £87for one night!!! We could have got better standards at a hostel for less money.

Good price
There were bugs in the room, the windows were broken and it was hair everywhere (in shower, on the floor etc).

The location is great and the staff is helpful, the rooms are clean
They need a store room for because people arriving early have to leave their staff in reception.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Only good is your standards are really low, and even in this case, I am sure you can find a lot better accomodations for almost the same price.
Yuck!!!! Old plasters attached to the old carpet, terrible smell in the room, everything old and torn. Really terrible under all points of view.

Close location to station
Room n shower dirty n room had no window or air con therefore no ventilation. It was a dungeon type room n very low quality. Shower dangerous I slipped on side bit n there was a hole from a drainage pipe open above my head in the shower. There was no milk to go with coffee n when I asked housemaid she said they don't supply milk ...! Bit bizaar and also the previous occupants left their dirty towels in the room nd the cleaners hadn't removed them. There are soooo many stairs so not good to carry heavy bags up n down. Would never stay there again.

Location
The bathroom facilities are old. Room is too tiny, therefore airconditioner is badly required.

The staff welcomed us warmly and were friendly thoughout our stay. Rooms were tidy, comfortable and serviced daily. A microwave and refridgerator in our room gave us a bit more flexibility too. Our children enjoyed the hotel too, as well as the quiet streets nearby.
There would be value in a little more maintenance on the place. Loose tiles in the bathroom and taps mislabelled in the shower spoilt our otherwise good impressions. None of these were major problems.

The location was great - walking distance to 2 underground stations, museums, a range of shops, banks, eateries, etc. The staff were friendly and responded when I made a serious complaint about the room after we arrived - although I did withold money. The carpets, beds, sheets, pillows and towels were all obviously new. There was a bar fridge and small microwave, one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The flat screen tv was also new as was paintwork in the room. The shower water was hot and there was plenty of it. The staff were helpful in arranging taxis and the airport bus and were always friendly, attentive and polite, even when I was very angry about the first room!
Even though it was a budget hotel, I expected to have a clean bathroom/toilet and it was obviously old but no excuse for mould or a broken toilet seat. We were a party of 3 - my mother is 81 and our room was up 3 flights of stairs, although to be fair I had not told the hotel I had an elderly lady with me. The room was extremely small with 2 double beds and no room to even open our suitcases; there was no wardrobe and a broken chest of drawers. There was a heatwave in London and the room had a small window with no air flow. I also did not like being asked for the 4 days money up front in cash and then told that it would cost me extra to pay with either a credit or debit card. This is the only hotel of many I stayed in this trip that did this. We did get moved the next day to a much larger ground floor room but the bathroom was still in poor condition.and the shower head would not stay fixed to the wall. The beds were new and clean but had no protective underlays over the mattresses, which is a worry.

Near the tube station, shops and bars. Very nice and helpful staff at front desk. Spacious room with kitchen facilities and bathroom. This is a budget hotel so no extra perks BUT well worth what we paid for a good nights sleep. The street is very quiet, not much traffic at all and no disturbance. Fresh towels every day and when we asked for some extra cleaning we got it. Surprisingly comfy beds!!
Window blinds need to be changed, fell down a few times (staff very helpful getting them up again but the blinds does not keep the room dark at night) Windows very old, difficult to open/close but again very helpful staff. Overall good cleanliness but still like we said, a budget standard. Not a place for romance etc, but perfect for a group of friends with emphasis on shopping/party/sightseeing - not spending time in our room much.
